The picturesque foothills of Moreleta Kloof enfold one of the true outdoor gems within the Tshwane surrounds, underrated trails and the Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve. The 100 ha nature reserve is a truly underrated trail running destination, boasting a host of game species, including zebra, blesbok, duiker, impala and bushbuck, to name but a few. Marked trails cater for everyone from newbie runner to avid trail gunner, with distances varying from 1.5 km to 3.6 km.

Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve was part of the initial farm that belonged to the Rademeyer Family that farmed cattle in the area. The farmhouse was constructed in 1903 and although it is utilised today as the Rademeyers restaurant the building is still in the original form.
