Situated on a 7500 hectare private game reserve in the Eastern Cape, the Kichaka Luxury Game Lodge is surrounded by an impressive 5 biomes, which include valley bushveld, fynbos, riverine forest, woodlands and savanna grassland.
Game Viewing
Experienced game rangers make the most of every opportunity to try to ensure incomparable animal encounters during the twice-daily game drives. One which leaves in the early morning and the other in the late afternoon, allowing time for some stargazing.
The reserve is home to the Big 5 as well as large herds of game, including gemsbok, springbok, eland, wildebeest and zebra among others with hippos regularly visiting the local waterhole. As a special treat, you can arrange a Cosmic Safari with your ranger and enjoy the wonders of space through a high-powered telescope. Kichaka has very little light pollution, presenting you with breathtaking views of the Milky Way and the Southern Cross.
