This refurbished historic train hotel celebrates where the first visits to Kruger National Park took place in the 1920s. Kruger Shalati is located in the exact spot where the train would overnight. Trains still ran through Kruger Park until 1973, thereafter most of the tracks were removed, leaving the bridge as a permanent feature of the Skukuza scenery.
