You’ll notice how the landscape changes from woodland to riverine forests, mountains, floodplains and pans where animals roam freely. It is here that you will find forests of fever trees, groves of baobabs and vast herds of wildlife. Kids under the age of 12 are not permitted on guided game walking safaris.

Known as one of the best destinations for birding in Kruger National Park, over 350 species of colourful birds soar the skies of Makuleke Contract Park. Bring along your binoculars for a chance to see Crowned Eagle, Wattle-eyed Flycatcher, Bohm’s Spinetail, Racket Tailed Roller and the Pels Fishing Owl.
