Pay a visit to Akkerboom Farmstall that is housed in an old farm house located on the family farm Akkerboom. The farmstall sells only the freshest, locally sourced products including raisins and dates, a variety of dried fruits and nuts, homemade jams and chutney to name a few.
After a delightful farmstall shopping spree, have lunch at famous Pienk Padstal. Yes, it’s pink, it’s prominent, it’s a place for postcard pictures.The aim is selling original products from the region, and in the presentation of it, the unique humour and warm friendliness of its people is obvious.
After lunch, you can visit Die Mas van Kakemas for a wine and brandy tasting. You can purchase some of their award-winning wines, brandy, gin and dessert wines at cellar prices. They also have a selection of home cooked jams, chutneys, raisins and green figs on sale in the cellar.
