The Kuname Lodge is nestled in the 9 000 hectare Karongwe Private Game Reserve, in Limpopo, which is home to a variety of animal species including the Big 5 as well as an impressive variety of bird life.
Game Viewing
The reserve boasts a diverse range of habitats, three perennial rivers and enormous Jackalberry and Leadwood trees. The elegant lodge and manor house in the Karongwe Game Reserve offers twice-daily game drives in open safari vehicles. During your drives, experienced game rangers will share their expansive knowledge pertaining to the surrounding bushveld with you. On the late-afternoon drive you will stop for a sundowner while taking in the magnificent beauty of an African sunset.
Bush Dining
Kuname Lodge is proud of its top gourmet chef who prides himself in the delectable African cuisine served at the lodge. Each meal is a guaranteed unforgettable culinary experience and the greatest of care is taken to please even the pickiest of palates.
Dining takes place in a variety of locations including the formal dining room or the outside Boma, weather permitting. Private cellar dinners can be arranged and are subject to availability. Special dietary requirements are catered for with prior arrangement.
The lodge bar is licensed and serves a variety of local and imported wine, beers, ciders and spirits.
