Enjoy a delicious brunch made by some of the local ladies before departing for Upington. The Khomani San are descendants of several original San groups, including the ||Ng!u who lived south of the Gariep River.

Hunting has been a way of life for the Bushmen for tens of thousands of years and they hunted with bow and arrow, and spears, but importantly also gave thanks to the animal’s spirit after it has been killed.

Hunting was a necessity and only practised to feed, nurture and provide skin, bone and gut to make clothing and tools.
