Your Room
Mpila Camp
Mpila Camp is strictly self catering only, with no restaurant and limited supplies available at the camp shop. Perfectly located on top of a hill with panoramic views across the bushveld of Imfolozi. Close to the popular Sontuli Loop and uMfolozi River, it is a place to recharge before heading out on an early game drive to watch the animals and birds near the water.
Mpila Camp offers a mixture of cottages sleeping up to 7 guests and chalets sleeping 2 or 5 guests and safari tents that sleep 2 or 4 guests.
The chalets are brick with a thatched roof, with high ceilings, which keeps them cool during the summer months. They are shaded by a grove of Monkey Thorn Acacias and by a canvas cover for extra shade. The chalets and tents each have their own bathroom, shower and kitchenette. The larger chalets and tents have a dining/lounge area and deck. The cottage has three bedrooms, a bathroom and the services of a caretaker who can also help in the preparation of meals.
Masinda Lodge
The six-bedded three bedroom fully self-contained Masinda Lodge at Imfolozi Game Reserve offers magnificent views of the bushveld and rocky ridges to the south of the reserve. A cook is in attendance to prepare meals for guests staying here.
Gqoyeni Bush Lodge
This bush lodge consists of 4 two-bed units with en-suite bathrooms. It has a large open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge with views of the Black Mfolozi River. It also overlooks a deep pool in the Gqoyeni Stream at a confluence river. A cook can help you to prepare your food and a field guide can lead you on walks into the surrounding bush.
Hlatikulu Bush Lodge
This bush lodge at Imfolozi Game Reserve is situated in a Tamboti woodland and overlooks the Black Mfolozi River. It has 4 two-bed units with en-suite bathrooms. The central entertainment area comprises of a kitchen, dining room and lounge. A field guide can take you on guided walks and a cook is available to assist you with your food preparations.
