Situated in the heart of the Garden Route in the Goukamma Nature Reserve, 15 kilometres from Knysna, it is a beautiful bay with excellent surfing and swimming and many activities for holidaymakers.
The tiny holiday village has only 200 odd houses and no further development is expected. Buffelsbaai is firmly entrenched as a top destination for board surfers. From the fairly predictable beach breaks in the east to the more challenging waves on the west, it is a surfer’s paradise.
