A characteristic mammal of Southern Africa’s dry and desert regions, the gemsbok has adapted to living in areas where there is no water to drink and gets its sufficient water requirement from its food.
Where they are found
The gemsbok can be found in the desert regions of Southern Africa, such as the Kalahari, the Namib desert, the Gemsbok National Park as well as in reserves and on private land.
