Uvongo Beach is a popular getaway for holidaymakers who enjoy open spaces, warm water and lots of sun time. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the South Coast of the KwaZulu-Natal province, and with reason - there is a stunning waterfall that flows into the lagoon and beach.

The surrounding towns on the KZN South Coast offer great variety of activities and adventures for any sun lover.

Uvongo Beach is safe for swimming, thanks to the shark nets and lifeguards on duty. In addition, it is the ideal spot for water activities such as surfing, stand-up paddling (known as SUP to locals), bodyboarding, and snorkelling. Tanning on the pristine white sand is also a favourite pastime to sunbathers, so whatever your beach activity is, make Uvongo your destination.

Pedal boats and kayaks are available for hire to visitors that want to make their way around the scenic lagoon. The little pier and Orange Rocks are great spots for fishermen, and you’ll be able to navigate the waters with ease.
