The reserve is appealing for all nature lovers, and the hiking trailers are suitable for beginners as well as pro hikers. The Gap Circuit is only 2.1 km and is the shortest hiking route in the reserve.

You’ll have the opportunity to spot the Cretaceous rock of the split of Gondwanaland while on this route. The Point Circuit is a 5 hour hike that is fairly strenuous, but will take you right to the scenic Robberg point. Take note that high tide might influence your hike as it makes some of the rocks slippery.

Robberg beach is a stretch of beautiful white sand between the Robberg Peninsula and Beacon Island in Plettenberg Bay. Here, visitors can soak up the sun or obtain a permit to fish at the Robberg Peninsula - a popular pastime for anglers. You can enjoy a nice swim or surf in the warm waters while lifeguards keep watch.

You can also explore the Plettenberg Bay and Robberg coastline on an ocean safari - a guided whale, shark, seal and dolphin spotting trip aboard a twin-hull ski boat.

If snorkeling is more your thing, there are adventure companies in the area that will offer you an amazing experience to swim and snorkel with Cape fur seals along the Robberg coastline.
