Whale and Dolphin Watching
Guests can board a boat in Plettenberg Bay to experience the one-in-a-lifetime opportunity of whale and dolphin watching. A knowledgeable guide will share interesting information about these creatures and why they are important to the balance of nature.
In summer you have a very good chance of spotting the rare, gregarious Humpback Dolphins found in only certain areas of the South African coastline. You are also likely to see Bottlenose Dolphins and Common Dolphin. In winter, there is a very high likelihood that you will see the Southern Right and Humpback whales. The tour includes a trip around the Robberg Seal Colony, which is home to around 5000 seals.
Birds of Eden
