Both the main beaches have a sea-front restaurant with patio dining, and Central Beach has boasts a shopping complex and the iconic Beacon Island Hotel. A walk through the Robberg Nature Reserve is also highly recommended. Outside of town, the Keurbooms Lagoon and beach offers safe watersports and swimming in a less developed environment.
