Skukuza Rest Camp offers a Kruger Park safari like no other, including golf at Skukuza golf course and diverse game sightings close to the Sabie River.

Seek Out Wildlife

At Skukuza Rest Camp, game drives embark twice daily and can be supplemented with safari walks. The team of ranger-guides have spent many years guiding in the region and building up their bush-wisdom, so you’ll be in good hands when it comes to game viewing.

The area surrounding camp also hosts a variety of and big-name predators like lions and hyenas, along with plenty of birds. Some birding lists from the Kruger Park record just over 500 species.

Game Viewing at Camp

Don’t be surprised if you experience most of your Kruger Park wildlife sightings whilst at camp. From mongoose and nyala to warthog and impala… you’re also likely to witness a few naughty vervets trying to sneak into someone’s kitchen.

At night, keep your eyes peeled for fruit bats and those gorgeous little thick-tailed bush babies seen clambering along the treetops in search of gum to eat.

Play a Game of Golf

Keen to hit the fairways? Don’t forget to pack your clubs and gear on your Kruger Park safari. Skukuza Rest Camp features a 9-hole, Par 72 golf course. And since it’s unfenced, you’ll experience some superb wildlife sightings at you tee off.

Don’t worry about safety though, the staff are on patrol to ensure dangerous animals don’t try to hurt you, or worse, disrupt your game.
