Maroela Private Camp is the real McCoy for avid campers and those travelling with motorised caravans through the reserve. With just 20 sites to choose from, each limited to a maximum of six people, there’s never the risk of it getting over-crowded.
A communal kitchen (with a fridge) and clean ablution facilities are available but do bear in mind that cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are not provided at this self-catering accommodation in Southern Kruger Park. Each Maroela Private Camp campsite also comes with its own powerpoint.
Facilities
There’s no restaurant, petrol station or shop available Maroela Private Camp in Kruger Park so you’ll need to come well-prepared. The advantage of this, however, is that it’s not teeming with noisy day visitors. Maroela Private Camp offers camping facilities only, and if that’s fine by you, you’ve just found yourself the perfect place to set up camp or park the van.
