The conservancy is focused on tranquillity and relaxation in the South African bushveld. It shies away from the regular frenzy and frantic rush experienced in game parks as tourists vie to catch a glimpse of the roaming game. The Makalali Conservancy has its own safari offering with open roof game drives out into the bush for a bout of game spotting.

You can expect to see the famous Big 5 as well as cheetah, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas and packs of wild dogs. The rich grasslands also attract plains animals such as zebras, giraffes and various buck species. Experienced game rangers and guides offer wonderful close encounters in nature with bush walks.

The accommodation at Makalali Conservancy creates a tranquil environment and experience in the bush. With features such as bush baths, outdoor bedrooms and an onsite spa, Makalali Conservancy offers visitors the perfect balance of nature and adventure in the wild.
