The Kololo Game Reserve is spread over 3 000 hectares of land across the beautiful Waterberg Biosphere, located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The Waterberg biosphere is declared a UNESCO reserve and contains a wide variety of wildlife rich landscapes and environments.
At Kololo Game Reserve you can discover bushveld, savannah, mountains, gorges, wetlands as well as a wide variety of flora and fauna that call this area home. The variety of landscapes that encompass the Waterberg region also reign in large populations of wildlife. On a visit to Kololo Game Reserve, you are sure to spot kudu, various antelope, wild buck, warthog, giraffe and zebra grazing the lands.
Bird watchers are in for a delight, as over 300 species of birdlife inhabit this area. Kololo Game Reserve is also a malaria-free, making it safe for the little ones to join in on a safari. Kololo Game Reserve is not only malaria- free, but also safe as only herbivorous game roam this area making this an excellent safari destination for families.
Big game and dangerous predators can be found at the neighbouring Welgevonden Game Reserve, which is fenced off from the Kololo Game Reserve. Activities include game drives, township tours, bird watching, horseback safaris, biking and a special kids safari.
