Jozini is a small settlement in northern KwaZulu-Natal on the Elephant Coast. The town lies fairly close to the Pongolapoort Dam/Lake Jozini. It is situated on the banks of the Pongola River and makes for a dramatic doorway into Maputaland. Jozini is surrounded by lush natural landscapes and scenic mountains.

Lake Jozini is a popular spot for fishing tigerfish, and borders the Pongola Game Reserve and Pongolapoort Nature Reserve. The main attraction in the area is the abundance of wildlife: elephants roam free and giraffe, zebra, kudu, bushbuck all graze together on the banks of the lake. Visitors are in for a treat as the area is a serene, tranquil escape from the busy city life and a wilderness haven for nature lovers.
