Garsfontein is a suburb that lies to the East of the city of Pretoria in the Gauteng province of South Africa. The area predominantly consists of housing and few surrounding farms. The main highlight lies along the Bronberg section of the Magaliesberg ranges, where Hedianga Farm promises an exciting trail running, mountain biking, birding and walking experience.
The destination encompasses an area of 140ha, mostly along the north facing slopes of the mountains overlooking Shere and Silverlakes.
As Garsfontein is located in Gauteng, visitors have easy access to nearby attractions such as the bustling city of Johannesburg and, where they can discover more about South Africa’s history while enjoying the city’s cosmopolitan vibe. Other places in close proximity by car or aeroplane are Nelspruit, Lydenburg and the famous Kruger National Park.
