Farr Out Guesthouse offers guests a tranquil escape with its countryside accommodation in Paternoster. There are a selection of rooms which include the Black Mussel Room, the Oyster Room, the Perlemoen Room, the White Mussel Room and the Wigwam Rising Moon Tepee.
With your stay at Farr Out you can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet of delicious cold meats, cheeses, jams, a fruit salad and assorted breads and cereals available during the week and a weekend “English Breakfast” to start your day right. Each of the rooms have covered parking.
Your Room
The Black Mussel Room is an east facing, spacious double bedroom (king-size bed or twin beds) with an en-suite bathroom. It sits on the ground level of Farr Out Guesthouse and you can gaze at the beautiful sunrise and fynbos from the privacy of the patio. The room is equipped with a mini bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, DSTV, a hairdryer and a safe to keep your valuable belongings safe.
The Perlemoen Room is also an east facing double bedroom (king-size bed or twin beds) with an en-suite bathroom with the same facilities as the Black Mussel Room, only it sits on the top level of the East Wing and has stunning views of the sunrise. It can be booked as a stand-alone room (accessible through the main house) or as an annexure to the Oyster Room.
Farr Out’s north facing Oyster Room is a double en-suite bedroom at the top floor of the East Wing. It has splendid sea views from a private balcony and comes equipped with a mini bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, DSTV, a hairdryer,a safe and a ceiling fan to keep you cool during those hot summer days.
The White Mussel Room which sits on the ground floor of the East Wing is a double en-suite bedroom (queen-size bed) with serene views from its private terrace of Farr Out’s landscaped garden with a Koi pond. This room is equipped with the same facilities as the Oyster Room.
The Wigwam Rising Moon Tepee nods to an American Apache style of accommodation. Experience the wonder of glamour camping (“glamping”) with this non-traditional accommodation, located 40m away from the guesthouse surrounded by Fynbos.
The Wigwam Rising Moon is a tented teepee accommodation fitted with an en-suite bathroom. It is equipped with WiFi, a safe, mini bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and an electric blanket for those chilly winter nights.
