Outdoor Paradise
Elgin Valley is an outdoor paradise, situated between Groenland and Kogelberg in the Western Cape. Its commercial centre is the town of Grabouw, and is located about 70 km from Cape Town.

Elgin is one of South Africa’s top apple producers, and as a result a leading craft cider brewer. This is an excellent wine region and home to numerous boutique wineries.
The area has bountiful birdlife, and at night animals such as owls, wild cats and small deer come out to wander.
The superb produce from the area makes for award-winning restaurants and great casual dining, accompanied by a glass of wine from a local winery. Its slow, simple daily routines and farm life feel make Elgin a true gem, not to mention its natural beauty.
