Biyamiti Bushveld Camp guarantees a Kruger Park wildlife safari like no other, with guided game drives and expert-led bush walks available.

Guided Game Viewing

At Biyamiti Bushveld Camp, you can amble along the nearby network of Kruger Park roads on your own or book the guided activities available: sunrise and sunset drives, and daily bush walks. With the help of trained field guides, you’ll up your chances of encountering safari favourites such as giraffe, elephant, buffalo, hippo, and lion. And, if you’re fortunate, you might even come across a cheetah or a pack highly endangered African wild dog.

Biyamiti Birdwatching

Since Biyamiti Bushveld Camp is so close to the Mbiyamiti River, chances are high for a variety of bird sightings during your Kruger Park wildlife safari. Plum-coloured Starlings, Purple Rollers, and Red-backed Shrike are just some of the ‘specials’ to be found flittering through the surrounding canopy of tamboti, knob thorn, sausage and green thorn trees.

The Kruger at Night

Since guests are not permitted to self-drive along the roads after dark, guided game drives offer an exciting opportunity to gain a whole new perspective of the Kruger. These expert-led excursions depart Biyamiti at sunset with the high chance of experiencing those spine-tingling nocturnal encounters: a leopard dragging a fresh kill up a tree, or a pack of rogue hyenas whooping into the darkness.
