Imfanelo yamanzi ibalulekile ekulimeni kwezinhlanzi zamanzi ahlanzekile (aquaculture) eNingizimu Afrika njengoba iqinisekisa indawo enempilo enhle yezinhlanzi.
Ikhwalithi yamanzi omuhle ithonya ukukhula kwezinhlanzi (amanzi amnandi = ukukhula okusheshayo), ukutholakala kwezifo kanye nokunambitheka nombala wezinhlanzi. Imfanelo yamanzi inqunywa yizici ezine eziyinhloko:
