In contrast to most communities where the use of beadwork is becoming less common, especially among younger men, traditional healers continue to make their own beaded garments.
The practice of making their own beadwork is still prevalent with both male and female healers. Some men have also learnt the art of beading to supplement their income by selling beadwork to other traditionalists.
