Bush Chalets
Shayamoya has 10 thatched chalets available, all beautifully furnished with modern amenities and a rustic design. The Honeymoon Suite is ideal for couples on a romantic getaway, as it is a spacious, private room with breathtaking views of Lake Jozini. The room is air-conditioned and boasts a large king size bed. The Family chalet is equipped with a king size bed, as well as a bunk bed and a pull out couch, perfect for an intimate family vacation with spectacular sunset views from the balcony.
One of the chalets is wheelchair accessible, and all chalets have coffee/tea facilities, a bar fridge, flat screen TV and an overhead fan. All chalets have an outdoor shower and en-suite bathroom, which is beautifully finished with attention to detail, such as the custom made basins and brass taps in the bathrooms.
Bush Camp
Shayamoya is also host to a large bush camp, set under the Weeping Borebean, Tamboti and Marula trees on the Shayamoya Reserve. The five Gemsbok tents are minimalistic and furnished each with 2 beds and a side table. The self-catering facilities include a big braai pit, grid area and tripod to hang pots and kettle over the fire; kitchen fully stocked with utensils and a 2 plate gas cooker and fridge with a small deep freeze section.
