Kruger National Park Safari Game Drive

This accommodation near Hazyview is situated 25 minutes from the famous Kruger National Park, and invites guests to explore the gorgeous wildlife of the park on a full-day, morning or sunset game drive.

The park boasts many wonderful wildlife sightings, such as the Big Five, giraffe, hippo, zebra, kudu, African wild dog, hyena, cheetah and an abundance of birdlife. Avid photographers should remember to pack their cameras for memorable moments, and birdwatchers can bring their binoculars to spot some of South Africa’s most beautiful bushveld birds.

A trained guide will pick guests up from the lodge in the morning and dorp them back in the afternoon, and the tour includes a packed breakfast.

Blyde River Canyon Tour

The third largest canyon in the world, Blyde River Canyon offers nature enthusiasts the chance to explore one of South Africa’s most beautiful natural attractions. The area has nature walks, canoeing, mountain biking and birdwatching on offer.

Other attractions on the Lowveld Panorama Route includes the Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window, The Pinnacle, numerous Waterfalls and The Three Rondavels. One of the more popular activities in the area is a hike in the mountains and pancakes for lunch in Graskop.

Hazyview Aerial Cable Trail

Skyway Trails gives guests the opportunity to experience the amazing natural forested valleys along the Sabie River. Glide over the treetops on a 1.2 km Aerial Cable trail in nine sections, strung between elevated platforms above the forest floor. All trips are guided by professional trained guides. Children under the age of 10 years of age are assisted. 

Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre

Guests can travel to Hoedspruit to visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, which is dedicated to the survival of rare, vulnerable, and endangered species. The HESC is focused on the survival of cheetahs in South Africa, and the rehabilitation of orphaned and injured animals. Cheetahs, wild dogs, black footed cats, lions, and sable antelopes are just some of the animals that call the centre their home.
