Your Room
The Elizabeth room and the Jacob room are ideal suites for couples. They’re both upstairs and the Elizabeth room is located under the thatch and has its own private entrance. Both rooms have the option of a double or twin beds and they come equipped with air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar and DSTV. You can enjoy views of the vineyard, river and the mountains.
Paulina is a suite named after the first owner of the land on which Basse Provence Country House rests. The suite is situated on the ground floor, near the pool and it has a full en-suite bathroom. It’s decorated with traditional Huguenot heritage with stylish modern luxury and it’s equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and DSTV. You can also request twin beds instead of a double bed. Also on the ground floor is the Gideon room which shares the same amenities as the Elizabeth and Jacob rooms.
The Gideon room has an en-suite bathroom and you can step out onto the terrace and enjoy the scenery. Basse Provence Country House has recently added the De Villiers room which is situated on the ground floor. The room shares the same amenities as the previous rooms and it’s also equipped with a cosy fireplace. There is a Country Cottage on the property which is a private two-bedroom cottage. It's perfect for families with children or small groups.
Basse Provence Country House also has three Manor House suites to choose from which are located in the stylishly renovated eighteenth century Manor House on site. The suite has thatched roofs and two of the three rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms. You can experience spectacular mountain views, enjoy a walk down to the river or splurge on a quaint outdoor picnic with a wonderful basket you can purchase at Rickety Bridge Winery.
