The vibrant Hermanus Country Market is open every Saturday and is lined with several stalls offering a variety of fresh produce, jams, wines and home-made goods.

If you’re interested in connecting with the local sea-life, head over to the New Harbour, a small fishing harbour in Hermanus where you can come face-to-face with a Southern Right Whale during whale season. If you’re up to explore the mountains up close, Fernkloof Nature Reserves is the ultimate walking and hiking adventure for you. It houses about 18% of the plants in the entire Cape Floral Kingdom which grow in remarkably close proximity to each other.
You can also enjoy a walk along the long sandy Blue Flag Grotto Beach or spend the swimming and sunbathing under the Cape sun. This beach boasts wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
