Botrivier

Beauty of the Overberg

Botrivier is a small farming town in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, South Africa. It lies on the slopes of the Houw Hoek Mountains and is surrounded by fynbos, wheat fields and historical wine farms. The river, also named Botrivier, flows through the town into a large lagoon with extensive wetlands at its mouth. Hundreds of waterfowl thrive in these marshes.
