As for accommodation, the three main choices are between Aloe Lodge - the main hub of Tala, Paperbark Lodge - an old restored barn with premier suites, or Mahogany House - which is the original restored farmhouse with verandas overlooking the open plains.
Leadwood Lodge at Tala Game Reserve
This 5 star lodge features a water fountain and pond area and large glass doors. There are 4 bedrooms, a cellar, board room, lounge and dining area, reading area, kitchen and a deck area with a rim-flow pool.
Paperback Lodge at Tala Game Reserve
Paperbark Lodge centres on a beautifully restored barn, with a large fireplace, polished floors and fold back windows that allow for natural light and ventilation. Dinners are served under the stars in the Paperbark Boma. The rooms are simple, yet dramatic, include wildlife paintings, shale walls and wood furnishings. This lodge surrounds an open grass area with views to the west of the open plains of the reserve. The rock pool is within easy walking distance and the premier suite features a spacious bathroom with ball-and-claw tub and four poster bed.
Fig Tree Lodge at Tala Game Reserve
The Fig Tree Lodge is situated near a watering hole. Fig Tree Lodge features 4 double rooms and one presidential suite. All the rooms have air conditioning and are situated around a bar area making it perfect for both conferences and family holidays.
