Carnarvon Dale Lodge consists of Bottom House – a settler house from the 1800’s, and Top House, a restored Edwardian cottage.
Furnishing is an example of plain but comfortable home-style living, reminiscent of the settlers who arrived here many years ago. Beautiful wooden floors reflect a style that was common back in the day, sought after in modern times. Bedrooms are en suite with a private bathroom with shower.
The sitting room is the best place to relax when not enjoying the cool traditional style veranda overlooking green gardens and the swimming pool. Children are welcome and this two roomed facility is suited to a small family.
The family style setting echoes the old world feeling of Top House where traditional South African home cooked meals are served. Three course dinners and wholesome breakfasts are served in Top House. Light lunches are served at Bottom House.
