Your Experience

Much like the African bird it is named after (Narina trogon), Lion Sands Narina Lodge is regal, beautiful and is perched among a canopy of 100 year old trees along the Sabie River and is the best palace to see Lions.

Big 5 and leopard sightings are frequent while out on safari drives and from the veranda, bushbuck, nyala, elephants and buffalo wander only metres below. The main areas of this lodge link to 9 suites leading out to wooden decks and private plunge pools. The wooden walkways are elevated, so you will get those stunning views over the riverine from all angles. At night, the Lodge transforms into an ethereal haven, illuminated by the glow of lantern light.

Apart from game drives, guests can take part in a specialised hippo tour, learn about Astronomy during nighttime stargazing and attend wildlife lectures. Lets not forget about the food. Bush breakfasts, picnic lunches and traditional outdoor dinners ensure that no cub goes to bed hungry.
